PUBG Mobile: The Last Station

PUBG Mobile’s Metro Royale mode rolled out a major update featuring a zombie mode and new in-game items.

Our challenge was to showcase it in an engaging way that would resonate with our target audience—Gen Z and Gen Alpha—all while working with a fairly modest budget.

We created a 10-episode vertical mini-series, with each episode lasting one minute.

The story follows a group of typical teenagers who find themselves transported from a subway train into the game. As they face challenges and disagreements, they somehow manage to escape the battlefield unscathed. But was it all just their imagination, or did it really happen?

My role was to develop the concept, oversee the screenwriting process, and supervise production at every stage—from pre-production and filming to post-production.

To make the series more engaging, we introduced an interactive element—viewers voted in the comments after each episode to decide what happens next.

Fun fact: Viewers initially thought it was a movie trailer, and once they realized it was a series, they started asking for a full-length film based on the game.
